This course is for you if...

  • You run a small business or a one-person show and know - deep down - that you're not too small to make an impact. You're determined to embed sustainability in what you do - if only you had a bit more help with the practical stuff...

  • You're ready to learn from others who've been where you are.

  • You'd love to be more confident when it comes to marketing your product or service. How do other people nail this? You want to know!

  • You've ever wished you could hire a coach to lead you through this. You're looking for expert guidance to help you prioritise and achieve your goals.

  • You're sick of feeling overwhelmed. It's time to develop a practical and achievable strategy for the next phase of your business.

  • You find it kind of bewildering trying to figure out which bits if sustainability you should go for, and when. It's not like you've got a dedicated ESG department.

  • You want to be an active participant of a passionate global community. Share resources, problem solve collectively, support and learn from other participants.

FAQ

  • "When does the course begin?"

This course is now available! Lessons are pre-recorded & accessible any time to enrolled students. Study at your own pace.

  • "How long will I have access to the course material?"

3 months starting from your enrolment date.

  • "How long does the course take to complete?"

Lessons are structured across 4 themes. Whether you choose to do them intensely or spread out over 4 weeks is up to you. Each person will have a different intention, so take it at your own pace. Tip: Make sure you watch all the videos and spend as much time as you need on the worksheets. You'll then be able to understand where to put your energy!

  • "Is it all about fashion?"

No. We're not looking at fashion specifically in this one (although we do have some guest interviews with fashion designers). The course is focused on creative businesses in general. For example: you might be in design, fashion, homewares; you might have a store, or an events business; perhaps you're starting a magazine or a PR agency or a travel company, you run zero waste workshops or a yoga studio. The possibilities are as varied as you are. It's not so much about the what of your service or product as the why...

  • "Can I do this course even if I don't have a small business?"

This course is designed to help inspire and support small business owners, entrepreneurs, independent designers, creatives and freelancers who care about sustainability. It's not a corporate or managerial course, & there's a strong focus on doing this stuff either on your own or with a small team. It's also suited to purpose-driven individuals who might be part of bigger organisations now but looking to go out on their own in future. You will learn invaluable skills and tips about what it takes to set yourself up as a professional who wants to make a difference.

  • "Who can I expect to learn from?"

As well as Clare's own insights on growing her podcast to 1.5 million downloads & navigating the complexity of sustainability, purpose and growth, this course features bonus video interviews with independent creators, designers and media experts plus curated business tips from key thinkers.
